This is not bad, but it is very below what one could expect from a wire Pixar studios. Since their acquisition by the Disney empire, their films lose quality with every new batch. The aspect of feminist is, frankly, rough. The animation is still as gorgeous. We spend a good time with family with these films, nothing special, but it back with pleasure a few years back! This film, I had heard spoken well for so long that I hesitated for years before the look of fear of being disappointed. It was a stupidity. What a movie!! We believe it really. Everything is immaculately framed, impeccably staged, impeccably place with an incredible refinement and a breathless attention to detail. I am a huge fan of Robert Redford and have only good to say of his game in this film. The character literally sticks to the skin. M Streep is heartbreaking, and the actors who have the second roles of the characters, africans are superb. Complex characters, minimal dialogue, but fair, all the senses and emotions go by the looks, gestures and attitudes. The atmosphere, the space and the pace of the colonial era are so perfectly portrayed that one has the impression of having lived the time. Personally, I got out of the movie with the impression of having revisited an old memory. Incredible truth! And what about the soundtrack that is simply magnificent and unforgettable.
